About EcomsGuide
EcomsGuide.online is an independent educational resource for online shoppers, sellers, affiliates, and advertisers. We publish plain-English guides for the major e-commerce platforms — Amazon, eBay, Etsy, the Apple Store, Nike, Adidas, H&M, Zara, IKEA, and the LEGO Shop — covering how each works and how to use it well.
Why this site exists
Every large e-commerce platform has its own help center, but those pages are written for the company first and the user second. They are also long, scattered, and constantly changing. We summarize the parts that matter for everyday users — in our own words — and update them as the platforms change.
How we write
Our writers are real people who shop, sell, and run ads on these platforms. We do not auto-generate articles, and we do not copy text from the official platforms. Each guide goes through three steps:
- Reproduce the task. We perform the action ourselves on the current version of the platform.
- Write from notes. The article is drafted from observation, not from other articles.
- Review against official documentation. A second pass confirms our description matches the platform\'s public policies and FAQ.

We do not receive payment from any platform to write favorable content, and we do not change articles in response to vendor requests outside of factual corrections.
